This Tank Top Tho...

Hey there! So sorry I haven't been able to blog as much as I would like :( It really does make me sad because blogging is something I find really fun! I have just been so busy lately. I don't even know where the time has gone! Between hanging out with friends, working (I'm a lifeguard), and school work, I feel like I'm completely swamped. Especially with the whole school work thing :/ I have no idea why I thought taking chemistry in the summer would be a good idea haha. The summer mood has set in and I have a lack of motivation to do anything involving school work, especially when there are so many other fun things to do in the summer! Give me some motivation guys haha.

Last night I went to dinner in Little Italy with a friend. Little Italy is this area of downtown Cleveland where a lot of Italian immigrants settled when they arrived. And they honestly have the best pasta I've ever had! For any of you who live in Cleveland, I seriously recommend going to a little place called Trattoria. It's my favorite :).

Here are some pictures I took today of the outfit I wore to class, minus the white cardigan I showed you a few posts ago. It's always so freezing cold in the classroom, but it's so hot and humid outside (hence my frizzy hair haha). But I'm loving the heat. Seriously could not be happier! Hugs <3

Sunshine and Smoothies

Hello! Today I was so proud of myself! Want to know why? I achieved the perfect balance of banana and strawberry flavor combined with the perfect creaminess!!! It's not very often I get the perfect smote combination when I make them myself haha. Do any of you have that struggle of not finding the correct fruit ratios? But I was super happy with the way this one turned out :) I also got to enjoy this wonderful smoothie outside in the sun. I honestly don't think it could've been a better combination. I'm hanging out with some friends later today so I'm looking forward to that very much :) Nothing goes better with a summer night than good company. Hugs <3

Hello!! I had the best sleep last night! I was so tired my head immediately hit the pillow and I was out cold. I slept soundly until 11 this morning. I can't remember the last time I slept so late. It was crazy! When I woke up my sister was watching Friends, so I grabbed my breakfast of yogurt and joined her. Yeah I had breakfast at 11 haha. Oh well. We spent so many hours watching Friends this morning. Ultimate laziness right here haha. But I am one of those people that cannot do nothing all day. I just go stir crazy. So I decided t shower, make myself pretty, and take some photos for you guys :) And here is the result! I think they turned out pretty well, even though it was cloudy and super cold for summer time. Please bring back my sunshine!! Have a lovely day <3

Second Day Hair Routine

Hiiii readers!! Today since I'm doing my second day hair thing, I thought I'd share it with you. It's super easy, no heat (huge bonus!), and I think it looks really pretty :) (I could be wrong though haha). I only wash my hair every other day because I want to keep healthy and long. My hair has finally reached the length I want, and I hope to keep it there and keep it healthy. When I first started washing every other day, my hair would be sooo greasy by the second day. It was terrible! And dry shampoo wasn't really big like it is now, so I had no help for it :(. Now dry shampoo is my savior! Even though my hair doesn't get as greasy as it used to because it's used to this, it still gets a little greasy. And when I need to look nice when going out in public or hanging out with some friends, I use my Bumble and Bumble tinted dry shampoo in the shade 'A Bit Blondish'. To be honest I wouldn't recommend using the tinted kind if you're even slightly blondish or have a much lighter brown color than I do. This tint actually comes out quite brown, but it matches my hair color and doesn't leave a white residue. Which I love because baby powder was terrible at that. I also find it lasts pretty long as well :).

Secondly, I love braiding my hair at night, taking it out in the morning, and getting these really pretty waves. Beachy waves without heat and effort?! Count me in!! In order to keep these waves in place and give them a beachy texture, I use my Sea Salt spray from Lush. I seriously am obsessed with this product! I have tried other sea salt sprays, and none work as well as this one at keeping my hair wavy all day. It has some hair gel in it to help with this. And guys I definitely think it smells AMAZING! It's kinda strong when you first spray it, but after a few minutes it'll gets better. It seriously smells just like summer *hearts in eyes*. Because hello! Summer is my favorite!

First Day of Class

Hey everyone! Today was my fist day of summer class. I need to take general chemistry 2 and the lab in order to stay on track with my major. So that's what I'm doing. Not my favorite way to spend my summer, but I still get a ton of time to spend outside in the amazing sun! Here's my outfit from today. My favorite comfy cardigan. This is seriously my favorite item in my closet. I'd be totally lost without it! It's super comfy and the right amount of cozy :). And then these super cute new shorts from Urban Outfitters and this basic black tank top. But I was totally freezing in class today! My shorts were definitely not appropriate for the high level of air conditioning in the building haha. Thankfully it was super warm and sunny outside, and I was able to take pictures :)

Now my sister and I are just sitting and watching a marathon of Friends on Netflix. I never knew why so many people like this show, and now I do! I have never laughed so much at a TV show! Except Big Bang Theory. I'm a sucker for nerdy humor haha. Hugs <3

Vineyard Vines Bag

Hello!! So it has been pretty cold the past few days, and I just haven't wanted to take pictures outside because I really hate the cold. I seriously cannot wait until I can move south! But that's awhile away, so for now I'll just hide with my blanket. I know school is over for most of us, but this bag has been my favorite thing ever since I got it (shout out to my big! It's a sorority thing). It has been so useful for carrying around my laptop and notebooks for school during the past semester. Also, I'm going to start taking a summer class, so it will surely be used for that. I have also used it as a pool bag. There is plenty of space for a towel, sunscreen, a book, and some cute sunglasses. Not only is this bag super useful, it's super durable. It's made out of thick canvas, so it won't break easily. Which is a huge plus! Also, because it's canvas you can wash it! I know after a ton of use my bags definitely get dirty. So being able to wash this is amazing! And I don't have to worry about destroying it in the process :). Because trust me, I definitely want to keep this around as long as possible!

Vintage Levi's

Good morning! Today I was super happy because the sun was shining when I woke up :). It has of course since then hidden back behind the storm clouds :(. The past few days have been kind of gross weather wise. It just seems we can't get enough rain (Although it does make the grass look pretty). But for reals, I want the sun back. The sun is my absolute favorite part of summer! It honestly just makes any day better for me haha. So to you who live in sunny climates all year round, look out! I'll be there in a few years haha.

I recently (sort of) purchased a pair of vintage Levi's shorts online, and I am basically obsessed. I have been wanting a pair since last summer. Although due to my lack of butt, they are a little baggy in that area :/. I can't decide if I should see about getting them altered or just leave it and rock the baggy look. What do you guys think?
