Exciting!!

Heyyy! Today is going to be a really quick post because I am super busy! Between the movers coming to take all of our bigger stuff out of the house and packing everything I will need to take down to college with me tomorrow, I'm just about beat and its only 2:00 pm :'(. But this is a screenshot from a few days ago on my iPhone of my Instagram. And look who liked my picture!! Kenza Zouiten!! I know most of you probably don't know who she is...but maybe you do?? She is the biggest blogger in Sweden and also the designer of IvyRevel. She is one of my favorite bloggers to follow. She is so pretty, so much fun, and the outfits she puts together are just amazing!! Total hearts in eyes guys! Haha. So when I saw she liked my picture I jumped up, and started dancing. No joke. Missing People and Places

Good morning everyone! So today I'm feeling a bit nostalgic. My little sister went off to college two days ago, and it is really weird not having her in the house with me. I'm usually one that is positive most of the time, but I miss her :(. And with everyone going back to school (including me), it means a close to summer :(. I'm going to miss the freedom of no school work preventing me from doing fun things with my friends, spending time with my family, and the warm weather. So here are some pictures of us from a trip to Lake Erie we took earlier this summer. My sister, mom, and I take this trip once a year to spend the weekend with my mom's best friend Sherri. We spend the weekend eating good food, having so many laughs, learning life lessons (no matter how you have eaten, there is always room for ice-cream haha), and journeying up to Put-In-Bay Island. It is definitely one of my favorite weekends of every year, and I wish I could have it more than once a year. But maybe that's one of the things that make it most special :).

Good Vibes Only

Good morning! Here is an outfit I wanted to show because I think it is so fun! I would not normally wear this on an everyday basis, but if I were to go out, I would definitely wear this. However, I do plan on wearing these pants out and about once the weather gets cooler. I would just tone down the styling by ditching the heels for flats and the crop top for a more basic shirt. But let's get back to the pants because I think they are so fun and different! And on top of that, they are super comfy. It's like wearing sweatpants, but turned up a notch haha. I cannot wait until I can wear these around campus in the fall :)

Today I am going to meet my mom for lunch by her office, and it is supposed to be super hot today! Still haven't figured out if I want to wear a dress or shorts. But I'm always very last minute with my outfits haha. I always seem to pick something and then find something better. So I always end up switching my outfit. Does anyone else get dressed like that?? haha Hugs <3

Yesterday's Maxi Dress

Hello! I have so many cool outfits to show you coming up soon! The past week or two I have been in such an inspiration rut. I just had no idea what to post any more :(. But all of a sudden today a whole bunch of inspiration hit me! I cannot wait for everything coming up. Life just seems to be so good right now! Today I have been super productive. I got some work done for the blog, worked out, took my adorable dog for a walk, and got some little things done that needed to be completed before I move back in to college. Later today I think I'll pack more of my clothes for school, if not finish that. Getting things done is one of the best feelings ever!!

Yesterday I was so busy! I went to the doctors office to get a regular checkup. Then my sister, who also had her checkup, and I went to get lunch. I got a smoothie from Robeks. Their smoothies might be my favorite type of food ever haha. Then later I went to a photoshoot with my mom and sister. My mom's friend, Michael Wypasek, is a very talented photographer, who will do some fun shoots with us when he has time. I've shown you some of his work on my blog before :). Anyway, I don't want to tell you what some of the pictures are for yet because I'm really nervous about it. Ahhh! Hopefully I will know within a few days, but I'm really not sure when I will get the results. So just bear with me guys! Haha. After the photoshoot, we went out to a really nice restaurant called Hyde Park at Crocker Park. And oh my gosh guys the food!! It was hands down some of the best food I have had. I got crab cakes and split the lobster mac&cheese with my mom. Both were soo amazing! Words cannot describe them accurately haha. This is the dress I wore for the evening.

Sunday Mode

Good morning everyone! I finally got my internet to connect with blogger after trying for 20 minutes. I was starting to worry I wouldn't be able to post this until after I got off work at 3 this afternoon :'(. I guess that's blogger karma for not posting the last two days haha. So here is some comfy inspiration for your Sunday. I know I plan on staying in lounge clothes all day long ;). This shirt is new, and it's super comfortable! The fabric is soo soft and stretchy. I also love the muted purple pastel color. It adds some color to my outfit without being overly bright. Today I paired it with snuggle shorts, but I would also pair it with some looser fitting denim shorts or boyfriend jeans to wear out of the house.

Today I really need to start making some progress in my To-Do List before I can leave for college. There are only 6 days until I move back in! So much to do in so little time! Who wants to join me in my productive Sunday mode? Maybe we can all get something done that's been sitting on our To-Do List for the past week or so :). Let me know what you're accomplishing this Sunday! Well, wish me luck guys. I'll update you tomorrow on how much progress I'm making haha.

New Hair

Hey there! So today I had a really beauty focused day haha. I finally got my eyebrows fixed after not having been done all summer. It's actually really crazy how you don't notice the difference when they're growing out because they grow so slow. But now that they are done, oh my gosh the difference it makes! Then I got my hair cut today as well :'(. I hate getting my hair cut because I always think they end up taking too much off. But I hadn't cut it since January, so it really needed to be done. I decided to try out the middle part today. I can't decide if I like it or not...What do you think??

Later tonight I'm going to the Feast of the Assumption. It is an Italian celebration, so the streets are lined with soo much good Italian food! My personal favorite is cavatelli and meatballs. Complete hearts in eyes! They also have bunch of other pastas, clams, Italian sausage, cannolis, casada cake, gelato...I could go on forever naming all the delicious food haha.

White T-Shirt and Jeans

Hello!! The past few hours have been a bit rushed, so I am just going to get a quick outfit post out. Whenever I am at a loss of what to wear (which I just did haha), I find myself drawn to super basic combos like jeans and a white t-shirt. This combo is a staple in my wardrobe. I love the simplicity of the white t-shirt (or any white top for that matter because I own way too many haha) and the classic denim jeans. However, this combination can be boring if you go too basic. In order to spice up such a basic outfit, I go for the details. Instead of being bland on the top and bottom, I will go for rips on the jeans in order to add a little something on the bottom. Or if you're feeling adventurous, go for a boyfriend jeans to add interest! Then to balance out the bottom, I will keep it very basic on top. And then come the accessories :). I chose to layer two simple gold chain necklaces for a pretty feminine touch, added a nude purse with a gold chain strap, and a pair of nude heels. This outfit is super simple, super classic, and very appropriate for many casual events. I hope you enjoy! Hugs <3
