Bohemian Spirit

Good morning! I am soo tired this morning. I feel like I could sleep for forever! Maybe I will wake up at some point haha. However, I am so excited I finally get to show you this outfit!! It has been sitting in my closet, waiting to be photographed in the perfect background. And I think I found it :). I absolutely love this arch and the courtyard behind it! I think it is one of the prettiest spots on campus. The best part is, it's sort of hidden away so a lot of people don't really see it. So it's a bit like it's all mine, even if I know that's not completely true. Moving on to the outfit...I have been loving this t-shirt dress since I purchased it. I love the maroon color for fall (or anytime really haha), the asymmetrical cut, and it's super flowy and flattering! The dress is also so easy to throw on and just walk out the door. Seriously, people always think dresses look so fancy, but in reality I didn't have to struggle with the skinny jeans, so the joke is on them haha :).

Dress and hat from Urban Outfitters, sandals are old.

Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday! Hugs <3

Details and Nail Polish

Hello everyone! Here are some pictures of this nail polish color I was obsessed with last fall, and I can already tell it will be another obsession this fall. I find it is a pretty neutral color that matches with almost everything. Also, it is not so high shine that it looks sparkly (it is definitely not matte though). Anyway, I just think it is super pretty a perfect for fall! The color is by O. P. I. and it's called "Silent Mauvie". The rings are the only two you will ever see me wear (I really should get more to match them because I love the stacked jewelry look). They are pretty simple, which is great for me because i never like too much sparkle or bling as you guys have probably noticed haha. I usually stick to thin gold jewelry because that is what looks best with my skin tone. The one on the right is from Charming Charlies, and the one on the left is from Nordstroms. I hope you all are having a wonderful week, and remember it's finally Friday!!! Hugs <3

White Baseball Hat

Hellooo!! Guess what daaayyy it is?! HUMP DAYYY!!! Haha sorry guys my Wednesday's are going to be a bit hectic this semester. I have a total of four classes today, and one of them is a lab. So we'll see how my usual Wednesday outfit post holds up. I may need to switch it to a Tuesday or a Thursday where I have more time to take pictures and write a good post. But we will handle that later :). Here is today's outfit. It's not the typical trendy post I usually save for Wednesday, but I thought I'd let you in on my two favorite clothing items for going to class. The first one is baseball hats. I love them soo much! They are perfect for an early morning, or when you just haven't been able to wash you hair and want to hide some of that mess in a cute way haha (this one is definitely me lol). This white one is definitely my favorite. It's so simple and goes with everything. It's great! The second item I love for class is cardigans. They are so super comfy, and if it's hot you can easily take them off in class or walking outside. Sorry you guys will be seeing a whole lot of cardigans in the future haha.

T-shirt from H&M, sweater from Aeropostale, shorts from Urban Outfitters, sandals are old.

P. S. I hope you like my new brick wall background because Miami only has buildings with red brick or white brick haha. Hugs <3

Comfy Cute

Hey lovely readers! I didn't post yesterday because I was really stressed out about some stuff having to deal with school. Not exactly the first day I was intending to have. But today is way better, so I'm good :). Also, you know how people always try and look really cute the first day of classes? Well I went in about the total opposite direction and wore a work out tank top and crop leggings haha. So cute Jess. At least I was comfy though :). So today I looked a little nicer. I still wore cropped leggings because it's been a little chilly out today. But instead of my tank top I wore this super cute hoodie! (I know super cute and hoodie are words that I never use in the same sentence haha) But I love this top! It's not thick like a sweater, and it has a really flattering loose cut. And this olive/forest green color is everywhere for fall! I am completely obsessed with this green and maroon for fall. So be prepared to see a lot of it guys haha.

I love taking silly pictures sometimes haha. Top from a small boutique in Cleveland, leggings from LululemonHugs <3

Boyfriend Jeans

Good morning everyone! So here is my Sunday outfit post. I decided to take a risk and purchase something I normally wouldn't wear. I hopped on the band wagon and bought a pair of boyfriend jeans. While they may not be the most flattering cut on everyone, I think I did manage to find a pair that looks decent on me. And even if they only look okay, the comfortableness makes up for it! They are super soft and slouchy! I could seriously almost wear them as sweatpants. I cannot wait until the weather gets just a little cooler so I can wear them without overheating :/. I'll show you some pictures from my dorm room set up later this week! It's time for those back to school posts :).

Jeans from Brandy Melville, t-shirt from Aerie. Hugs <3

Exciting!!

Heyyy! Today is going to be a really quick post because I am super busy! Between the movers coming to take all of our bigger stuff out of the house and packing everything I will need to take down to college with me tomorrow, I'm just about beat and its only 2:00 pm :'(. But this is a screenshot from a few days ago on my iPhone of my Instagram. And look who liked my picture!! Kenza Zouiten!! I know most of you probably don't know who she is...but maybe you do?? She is the biggest blogger in Sweden and also the designer of IvyRevel. She is one of my favorite bloggers to follow. She is so pretty, so much fun, and the outfits she puts together are just amazing!! Total hearts in eyes guys! Haha. So when I saw she liked my picture I jumped up, and started dancing. No joke. I was so happy haha. Anyway, I hope you are having a lovely day. As always, Hugs <3

(I'm sorry it's so small. I wasn't able to blur the names of everyone else on the screen, so I had to crop them out.)

Missing People and Places

Good morning everyone! So today I'm feeling a bit nostalgic. My little sister went off to college two days ago, and it is really weird not having her in the house with me. I'm usually one that is positive most of the time, but I miss her :(. And with everyone going back to school (including me), it means a close to summer :(. I'm going to miss the freedom of no school work preventing me from doing fun things with my friends, spending time with my family, and the warm weather. So here are some pictures of us from a trip to Lake Erie we took earlier this summer. My sister, mom, and I take this trip once a year to spend the weekend with my mom's best friend Sherri. We spend the weekend eating good food, having so many laughs, learning life lessons (no matter how you have eaten, there is always room for ice-cream haha), and journeying up to Put-In-Bay Island. It is definitely one of my favorite weekends of every year, and I wish I could have it more than once a year. But maybe that's one of the things that make it most special :).

Hope you all have had a lovely summer! Hugs <3
