Comfy Cute

Hello everyone! Here is a quick update before I run out to class. My Wednesdays are always super busy! I can't wait until I'm done with everything today, even though I have a whole bunch of homework to catch up on :/. This is an outfit from Monday. I decided I wanted to look cute, but still be comfy. And this outfit did both :). The leggings and flannel were super comfortable, the scarf was snugly, and the boots kept my legs warm :). Definitely a winning outfit haha. I hope you all are having an easier day than I am, but I do like being busy. I find it motivates me more than when I'm bored. So maybe something productive will come from this busy day :). Hugs <3

Relaxing Morning and Adidas Shoes

Hellooo!! This morning I woke up super early at 6:45 because I had to take my car back to its legal parking spot to avoid getting another parking ticket :/. Massive glare directed towards the parking people. Grrr. They are such sticklers at Miami about parking. Oh well I had a relaxing morning because I had so much time. I took a really warm, long shower, which is always one of my favorites. Then I took my time getting ready, picking out an outfit and putting on makeup, while listening to music. Such fun. I was going to take some outfit pictures this morning, but I washed my hair so I looked kind of like a drowned rat haha. These pictures, however, are from over the weekend :). I am so in love with these tennis shoes! Ahhh!! Total hearts in eyes! They are super cute, but super comfortable. Annnddd they match with everything! They have definitely become a wardrobe favorite.

Puppies and Kittens

Good evening readers! Sorry for this late update, but I'm taking a break from my homework and exam studying. Here are some pictures from today. I went to a local animal shelter to walk some of the dogs, and after we got to play with some of the puppies and kittens! These adorable little puppies were around five weeks old I think. I just wanted to take one of them (or all of them) home so badly! They were just so cute! But I live in a dorm, so they don't allow pets :'(. Next year I think my housemates and I will foster a service/therapy dog in our apartment. So we will get a puppy for a semester, and then at the end we will have to give it to whoever adopts the service dog. The dog comes pre-trained and all the food and vet visits are paid for. So it's really an ideal thing for a college student to have :). I can't wait!

This little guy was having fun chewing on my finger haha. Soo cute!

I actually got him to stop licking my face for a picture haha.

These kittens were so cheeky playing with my apron strings!

Have a great evening! Hugs <3

In the Woods

Good morning and happy Sunday! Today I slept in until around 10:20 and then laid in bed until now haha. I'm actually still in my pajamas right now. But that sleep was much needed after last week of not getting much sleep thanks to my cough. I'll probably go and get breakfast soon...err well lunch haha. But breakfast food still. Ahh! I just love breakfast food :). These pictures I am completely obsessed with. I took these on Thursday during my large amount of free time haha. I think the lighting turned out amazing, and I love this outfit! I hope you like it too!

Errands

Hello everyone! Today has been pretty busy but not that exciting. This morning was super fun  though! I went paint balling for the first time!! In case you don't know how it is played, the idea is that you basically run around the woods/obstacles with a 'gun' that uses compressed air to shoot balls of paint at people. You are supposed to hit all the other team's players, before they hit all of your players.  The team with the last players standing wins. We played a bunch of different rounds and I got zoo much paint on me! When I got back I took a much needed shower because I managed to get shot in the head and had paint all over my hair haha. Ugh it was so sticky and gross! :P Then I cleaned my room (finally :D) and went out to run some errands. Nothing super interesting. I just needed some lotion, mascara, and food from the grocery store. Now I have the rest of the day to do something with. I should really do homework, but I just don't feel like being very productive at the moment haha. Do you guys ever feel that way? Usually I'm super motivated to do homework, but today I'm just not feeling it. So what to do???

Here is an old picture from when the weather was warmer. It's finally starting to cool off now and I'm really missing the heat :'(. Oh well fall has to kick in, followed by winter, at some point :/. Now all I can do is look back at all the good pictures I've taken over the summer, and wish I was there again. Until next summer :)

Last Weekend through my Phone

Hey! Here are a bunch of pictures from my iPhone that I took while I was in St. Louis. I didn't take any pictures of the food I ate because while it looked super pretty, I was just too hungry to not dig in right away. Haha priorities people. But without further ado, I will show you my weekend :)

Here are some of the Clydesdales from the Budweiser brewery. They are definitely some of the most beautiful horses I have ever seen (but they should be because i think the tour guide said they get around 5 hours of grooming a day?!?!). Their coats are amazingly shiny, and the colors are just gorgeous. There were more in the stable that were huge too! It was crazy how a horse could be so big!

These next pictures are from the Cathedral downtown. This was one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever seen or been in. It was absolutely awe inspiring. The whole ceiling and all the pictures in it are made entirely out of tiny mosaic tiles. The intricacy of each of the faces and the patterns is phenomenal. I can't even imagine how long it must have taken for that to be completed.

This is the cover over the alter. I'm not exactly sure what purpose it is supposed to serve, but the stonework on it is amazing. I wish I could have gotten the picture while it was still lit up, but they turned it off right as I was reaching for my phone :(. There are at least four different kinds of marble for the columns, and on the tops you can sort of see have very fancy carving.

This is a picture from one of the four or five side chapels. It is again made entirely out of mosaic tiles, and here you can see some of the patterning better.

Here is a picture I took on the ride home driving through Indiana/Ohio. The trees were absolutely gorgeous! This was one of the times where I look at Ohio and actually think how beautiful it is here (believe me it doesn't happen very often haha). I actually missed the exit we were supposed to get off of, and so we really did end up taking the scenic route haha.

As always, Hugs <3

My Fall Must-Haves

Hello readers! Here is my usual Wednesday outfit post (a day late) for you. This morning it was pretty cold out, so I broke out a sweater, my vest, and riding boots. This is basically my cool fall weather uniform haha. I love this sweater because it is very neutral in color, but it has details that make it stand out a bit. I love the thin stripes and the patches on the elbows are super fun! It also has a very flattering neck line, but the vest is covering it so just take my word for it haha. This vest not only goes with everything, but it is super warm because it is lined with fleece. I actually borrowed/stole it from my mom's closet haha (love you mom!). Then, I'm just wearing basic black leggings for comfort :). And finally my riding boots which I love soo much. They can really pull an outfit together. I am thinking about getting a new pair that is of better quality because mine are a cheaper pair. But I wear them so much I think it would be worth it.

The rest of the day I will be taking more pictures so I can stock up for a few days :). And the weather has turned out to be absolutely gorgeous! I also don't have much school work today, so I am just enjoying the beautiful fall weather.
