Sunday Fun-day??

Good morning everyone! Here is my Sunday outfit post for you. I wish I could tell you that I'm doing something really fun or relaxing on my Sunday, but I'm working at the pool all day. However, I just got done with a super sweaty, tiring workout. Gross I know, but so satisfying. I just love the post workout accomplishment feeling. But as for this post, I'll just stick to the outfit post for you ;). I'm actually really excited to post this because I love this shirt! It reminds of those ones I used to love to wear when I was a 5-year-old haha. They are super stretchy and comfortable, and look adorable paired with my high waisted vintage Levi's. This shirt is from Brandy Melville (a brand that I absolutely love). I think their clothes are so different/trendy, and they are actually really affordable compared to some other brands. It is hard sometimes finding a shirt that looks just right on you because it is one size fits all, but I have managed to find some that really do look good, even on this short girl haha. And finally, my shoes are just a pair of converse that are super old.

Hope you are having a great Sunday! Hugs <3

Origins Clay Mask

Good mooring everyone! It is a beautiful Saturday morning here in Strongsville, and I am so excited for the day ahead of me! To kick off the weekend, I thought I would share this face mask I have been loving the past few weeks. It is the Origins Original Skin Retexturizing mask with Rose Clay. I don't think I have ever tried a face mask that has improved my skin this much. It really leaves your skin glowing after about two uses. The recommended amount of uses is 1-2 times per week, and I have been sticking to that recommended usage. To use, you apply a thin layer all over your face (avoiding the eye and mouth areas) and let it sit for 10 minutes. The mask will get really tight as it dries. I can't even move my face the last minute or two haha. Then rinse off in the sink using room temperature water. The mask also has these little beads that act as a gentle exfoliant as you wash it off. So not only does this mask work really well, it smells really fresh. It's a combination of citrus and floral. And I just think it's super pretty!

This is not a sponsored post. I actually just really love this product. Hugs <3

Lazy Day

Hello! So I had a pretty relaxing morning. I decided to skip the usual hard sweaty workout and instead replace it with a 40 minute walk with my dog. It was really enjoyable because the weather is much cooler than it has been the past few weeks. So I wasn't sweating by just walking out the door (yucky!). After that, I ran some errands around town to get food for dinner and some back to school things. Nothing really exciting at all haha. For dinner tonight I decided to make ratatouille. I saw some recipes pop up on my pinterest feed, and I just decided I needed to try it haha. And it is actually really yummy! It's almost like a vegetable stew if you make it the old fashioned French way. I took some pictures of the ratatouille, and I'll give you a more detailed post tomorrow :). The rest of the day I will be at work, and then to a bonfire after with some old friends!! I haven't seen them in almost 6 months or more! I'm super excited :).

Here are some pictures of me in my comfy clothes from today (although if I'm being honest I'm in running shorts and a pull over or t-shirt at some point every day haha).

Messy hair, so don't care haha.

This is my dog. I love him even though he hates being hugged and only looks good in a picture when you catch him off guard haha. So needless to say, he was unhappy about being forced to take a picture with me.

IvyRevel Romper

Hellooo readers! Today I want to share with you this beautiful piece I purchased a few weeks ago from IvyRevel. This is a brand I found through Instagram. The clothes are designed by Kenza Zouiten, and they are just so fresh and clean! The lines are sleek and flattering, the colors and patterns are trendy, and the quality is actually really good! Overall, I love this brand. I wish I was able to order more from their website, but the company is Swedish based and shipping to the United States is super expensive :(. This is the called the Walt romper. I saw Kenza wearing it on her blog a few weeks ago, and immediately decided that I needed to have it. Kenza and I have very similar coloring, so I decided I should try the bright pink instead of the white, which is the color I own everything in...Seriously, white tops are my go-to for everything in the summer. But I decided to take a chance since it looked so good on Kenza. I must say, I was not disappointed! The hot pink looks amazing with a tan, and the romper photographs soo well! I paired it with a simple pair of nude heels for a dressier look. I would definitely wear this out to a nice dinner with friends or family.

Photoshoot Behind the Scenes

Hello! So I am prewriting this post because tomorrow (well today since you are reading it now haha) I will be at Cedar Point enjoying some super fun roller coasters! I am soo excited! I just love roller coasters, as I am such a huge adrenaline junkie. But for now I will focus on the Gladys Magazine photoshoot. These are some of the behind the scenes shots (I'm sorry I only have the ones taken from the first outfit) taken by the hair and makeup artist Erica. She's the cute one in the first picture that isn't me haha. As you can see, we had quite the entourage. There was myself, my mom, Michael Wypasek (the photographer), his wife Terri, the hair and makeup artist Erica, and Erica's boyfriend. Needless to say, we got plenty of stares with all the funky equipment you can see below. If I wasn't placed in the shade, you can see Erica's boyfriend holding this large filter thing to keep me out of direct sunlight. And if I was in the shade, you can see my mom and Terri holding this giant reflective sheet to add light and warmth to the photo haha. It was windy that day so the reflector kept wanting to take off with my mom and Terri! We had a few laughs about that :) So much goes into perfect lighting, it is crazy!

Selfies are clearly not my expertise haha. I always manage to look silly in them! Do you guys have any tips for good selfies??

This was one of the most fun days of my life. I wish I could do this everyday! For now I'll just stick to blogging, but a girl can dream they'll eventually want a little 5'4" girl in modeling one day :'( As always, Hugs <3

Gladys Magazine Photoshoot

Hellloooo!!!! I am soooo excited I finally get to tell you about my photoshoot with Gladys magazine! I don't know how many of you know that in May of this year, I was able to do a photoshoot for them. And now I can finally show you all the results! I would love to give a huge thank you to my photographer Michael Wypasek! He is so talented and very funny! He always makes shooting easy, comfortable, and fun. My hair and makeup were done by Erica Love. Ever since this shoot I have been trying to recreate the curls she gave me to no success. They were just too beautiful, and my eye makeup was on point :) So a huge thank you goes out to her as well! Here are the images as they appear in the magazine.

This photo appears on the inspiration board and is actually really small, but I still wanted to show it to you. So I took my camera and took a picture of the magazine, and that's why it looks funny.

These images are not in the magazine, but Michael Wypasek (the photographer) sent these to me after the shoot. I thnk they are just as pretty as the ones in print!

I'll show you some of the behind the scenes photos tomorrow! Hugs <3

Blueberry Waffles

Good morning everyone! So I was originally going to do a post about the face mask I've been using recently, but the pictures just did not come out well. So I will redo those and get it out to you next week :). This morning I decided I wanted to make myself a yummy breakfast of blueberry waffles. I have been dying to make one all week, but I just haven't had the time :(. One of the few downsides of having a really busy schedule. I love being busy, but sometimes it means that there just isn't enough time for some of the little things. So now that I finally got my waffle, I decided to share these pictures with you because honestly it looked way too good not to post haha.

Just look at that beauty! And it tasted just as good as it looked too :)
