Good afternoon! So this week has been super long and busy with just everything. But finally I have some time to breathe today. So that means getting some blog work done :). I say blog work, but really this is my fun. I love writing to you guys, getting my thoughts down on paper, and I love taking cool pictures haha. Blogging is just something that allows me to be creative, play with outfits, and look back on memories. I just love it :)
So today I have a meeting with the study abroad office! I am soo exited!! I seriously cannot contain myself! One thing I absolutely love is traveling. I love seeing new places, experiencing different cultures, eating every kind of food (seriously put almost anything in front of me and I will try it haha). If everything works out, I'm hoping a trip to Europe??!! I absolutely love European fashion. Actually, all of the other bloggers I follow are European haha. It's so clean and classic, but unafraid of new trends. That's the one thing I find Ohio is terrible at doing; adopting new fashion trends. I seriously get weird looks when I go out around campus in my boyfriend jeans. And I'm here like, "Guys! These are trendy and way more comfortable than skinny jeans!" I love my comfort haha. But anyway, I hope I get to travel places :) Hugs <3

Fall Insporation Board
Hello everyone! So yesterday and today have been pretty hectic school work wise, so the blog has suffered a bit from my lack of posting. But I thought it might be a little bit different/fun to make a fall inspiration board from some pictures I found on Pinterest. If you guys are interested you can follow me on there as well. I should just be Jessica Simon...I think. If you have any problems just let me know in the comments, and I'll get back to you :). Okay, back on topic haha. Fall is right around the corner for me! :'( I'm going to miss the hot weather of summer and all the sunshine. Already the mornings are getting chilly here. But I must say, I do love fall fashion. Layering allows me to create so many different outfits, using the same pieces in different combinations. It's amazing for running a blog on a budget haha. So be prepared for lots of layering and cute combinations to come :). Here are some of the trends I am loving right now, and cannot wait to try out!
1) Layered Necklaces. I think these are super pretty! They can make a basic outfit into something eye catching and fashionable. They are a great way to mix and match your style. And idk I just love them haha.
5) Plaid Blanket Scarf. Okay, whoever knows where I can get this scarf needs to let me know ASAP!! I am completely and totally in love with this scarf, and need to have it in my fall wardrobe! Ahh! It's just so simple and cozy looking. I love being cozy and warm in the fall, and this scarf would be perfect :).

2) Neutral Colors. I. Love. Neutrals. Haha they go with absolutely everything! They are pieces that can be super fashionable, but wearable because of the understood color. I'm not usually a person who likes to wear a lot of bright colors, but I think the lack of color can be very chic as well. Besides, who doesn't love a great white t-shirt and jeans combo??
3) Long Sleeved Dresses and Stripes. Okay so these are two trends I love, but I just happened to find a picture with both of them in one. I think the long sleeved dresses are prefect for fall, and this one is a little more casual because of the jersey material, so you could definitely wear it as an everyday outfit. And thin stripes are something I'm obsessed with! Everytime I see something I want to buy, I swear it has stripes haha.
4) Brown Booties. Again, these go with everything! (Is anyone else sensing a theme in my wardrobe? Haha) But they are so cute!! And it's a great way for us short girls to add a little bit of a heel to a casual outfit without looking over dressed. Not to mention they are super comfortable because of the chunky heel :).

So I hope you enjoyed this little post. I promise I will have pictures of me in my next post haha. Hugs <3

Back to School Outfit and Mode
Hello again! Here is the outfit post I promised you all, so I can give you your normal Sunday reading haha. The rest of today will be spent studying for organic chemistry. I am so determined to do well on this test I have on Tuesday. I think I have done a decent job preparing for it so far. Now I just have to continue the grind :). This year I am so motivated to do well all my classes! I really want to just be on top of everything and do well. So wish me luck guys, and I will be cheering you on too!
Shirt from FreePeople, bralette from FreePeople, jeans from Brandy Melville, shoes from Toms.
Baseball Game
Good morning! Here are some pictures from yesterday. My dad came into town this weekend, so yesterday he and I went to the Cincinnati Reds vs. the St. Louis Cardinals baseball game. My dad moved to St. Louis last year for work, so I don't really get to see him that often :(. By the time we got back yesterday, it was a little late to post the pictures from the game. So here they are! (And I promise I will get an outfit post out later today. I know, I know, two posts in one day is madness for me haha). We actually had really good seats for the game. They were right at the end of the first baseline! And guess what guys!!!!! I caught my first baseball!! Well the ball boy actually threw it to me after a player hit a foul ball, but hey still counts, right? After the game we got sea food for dinner and it was really yummy! See you all later today! Every Day Makeup
Hellloooo readers! Today I decided to do a post of my everyday makeup and some of my favorite products to use. So without further intro, let's just get into it :)
This is the MakeUpForever HD Foundation. I have had this bottle for four years because I only use it as a concealer. I hate having makeup all over my face! I'm still five at heart and need to be able to touch my face haha. It works super well as a spot coverage though. It's really good at hiding blemishes, and it doesn't feel too heavy.
Okay this is my Holy Grail product. This is the Clinique High Impact Mascara. It is my absolute favorite mascara! It makes my lashes look super long and thick. And it really doesn't clump, which I love! It's just the best stuff ever haha.
This is the Estēe Lauder Artist's Eye Pencil. To be honest I like the Ulta pencil liner better because it's darker and goes on easier. But I'm not one to throw away a whole eyeliner, and it really isn't bad. I just like Ulta's better. I usually only line my tight line and water line on my eyes for an everyday look. It doesn't look like you're wearing a lot of eyeliner, but your eyes will definitely pop! An extra bonus of lining your tight line is that it makes your eyelashes look super thick!!
I cannot live without my EOS lip balm! I forget what flavor this is, but it smells sort of melony. The smell just reminds me of summer even when it gets cold out :).
This palette is my favorite for making super natural eye shadow looks. However, on a regular day I normally just use the shade Venus to highlight the inner corner of my eyes. I find it makes them look soo much bigger!
And here is the finished product haha. I hope you like it! And sorry about the weird glare on my nose. The lighting was coming in at a weird angle. Hugs <3

Tumblr Dorm Room
Hello everyone! Here are the pictures I promised a few weeks ago of my dorm room, and how I decided to decorate it. This is my side of the room. I didn't want to include my roommate's side in case she didn't want her stuff photographed. So this year I went with stringing my Christmas tree lights across the wall instead of the ceiling. I do think I like it better this way. It doesn't make the ceiling seem so low, and it makes a nice frame for what I put on the wall.
Have a great day! Hugs <3
Sorry this picture is so dark. It's just the way the sun was coming in through the window. But this is probably my favorite wall because it has all my favorite pictures from the past year or so. Sometimes it's just nice to look at reminders of all the people in your life at times that were a blast :).
Sorry for all the sorority stuff on the wall, but as you can tell I'm in Phi Mu haha.
This I actually painted all by myself over the summer haha. I'm super in love with the way it turned out!
My big gave me these lovely canvases last year. How can I not hang them up?! Except the Coco Chanel quote. I did make that one.
This is the wall above my desk. It has my jewelry, a magnet board that I like to hang cards or important things on, more letters my big gave me (shout out out to her haha), and a pretty skyline of New York City that is actually my roommates :).
Have a great day! Hugs <3

Cozy Day
Heyyy! Today has been really cloudy so far, and it's supposed to rain later. I really hope I don't have to walk in the rain to class. I hate wet shoes!! Luckily I have this giant olive green umbrella that I can lug around with me in case it starts raining. But it's so big it kind of sucks carrying it around... Anyway, the clouds have put me in a rainy day mood, which means I just want to curl up in bed in a comfy cardigan or long sleeved tee and read a good book :) I wish I had time to read during the school year :( So I guess I'll be curling up with some organic chemistry or microbiology instead... Those don't exactly sound like good cuddle companions haha. Oh well, at least I might be somewhat productive then. Later today I'm going to finish the series Band of Brothers with a friend :). It's an HBO series about the European front of WWII. It's really really good!! Although, if you are a chick-flik (is that how it's spelled?? haha) sort of person I wouldn't recommend it. There is a lot of exploding things and people getting shot, but they really do a great job of portraying what the soldiers went through. So definitely check it out if that's something you're interested in :)
Here is today's snuggly outfit. I got this shirt over the weekend in a medium, which is two sizes bigger than I normally wear. But I really wanted this shirt to be oversized and slouchy. And it really is one of the softest shirts I own. I love it :). The shirt is from Pacsun, the bralette is from FreePeople, and my shorts are from Target (they probably don't go as well with the shirt as denim ones would, but I just wanted the be comfy today haha). Hugs <3
