Last Weekend through my Phone

Hey! Here are a bunch of pictures from my iPhone that I took while I was in St. Louis. I didn't take any pictures of the food I ate because while it looked super pretty, I was just too hungry to not dig in right away. Haha priorities people. But without further ado, I will show you my weekend :)

Here are some of the Clydesdales from the Budweiser brewery. They are definitely some of the most beautiful horses I have ever seen (but they should be because i think the tour guide said they get around 5 hours of grooming a day?!?!). Their coats are amazingly shiny, and the colors are just gorgeous. There were more in the stable that were huge too! It was crazy how a horse could be so big!

These next pictures are from the Cathedral downtown. This was one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever seen or been in. It was absolutely awe inspiring. The whole ceiling and all the pictures in it are made entirely out of tiny mosaic tiles. The intricacy of each of the faces and the patterns is phenomenal. I can't even imagine how long it must have taken for that to be completed.

This is the cover over the alter. I'm not exactly sure what purpose it is supposed to serve, but the stonework on it is amazing. I wish I could have gotten the picture while it was still lit up, but they turned it off right as I was reaching for my phone :(. There are at least four different kinds of marble for the columns, and on the tops you can sort of see have very fancy carving.

This is a picture from one of the four or five side chapels. It is again made entirely out of mosaic tiles, and here you can see some of the patterning better.

Here is a picture I took on the ride home driving through Indiana/Ohio. The trees were absolutely gorgeous! This was one of the times where I look at Ohio and actually think how beautiful it is here (believe me it doesn't happen very often haha). I actually missed the exit we were supposed to get off of, and so we really did end up taking the scenic route haha.

As always, Hugs <3

My Fall Must-Haves

Hello readers! Here is my usual Wednesday outfit post (a day late) for you. This morning it was pretty cold out, so I broke out a sweater, my vest, and riding boots. This is basically my cool fall weather uniform haha. I love this sweater because it is very neutral in color, but it has details that make it stand out a bit. I love the thin stripes and the patches on the elbows are super fun! It also has a very flattering neck line, but the vest is covering it so just take my word for it haha. This vest not only goes with everything, but it is super warm because it is lined with fleece. I actually borrowed/stole it from my mom's closet haha (love you mom!). Then, I'm just wearing basic black leggings for comfort :). And finally my riding boots which I love soo much. They can really pull an outfit together. I am thinking about getting a new pair that is of better quality because mine are a cheaper pair. But I wear them so much I think it would be worth it.

The rest of the day I will be taking more pictures so I can stock up for a few days :). And the weather has turned out to be absolutely gorgeous! I also don't have much school work today, so I am just enjoying the beautiful fall weather.

A Bit of Happines

Hello everyone! I'm sorry I haven't posted in the past two days. My schedule has been a little hectic, and I've been feeling a little under the weather. But no worries, I have the last of my three exams at noon, and I'll hand in my lab report then too. Then I will be free! There is no better feeling then finishing all that school work that has just piled up. I also have this super annoying cold that turned into a sinus infection, but I went to the doctor today so I will be better in a few days :). With all this crazy stuff going on, I figured I would post a picture of my super fluffy and adorable dog. He always makes me feel happier, so maybe his cuteness will make you feel better too? Haha anyway, you can expect my usual Wednesday outfit post tomorrow. Hugs <3

Fall Vibes

Good morning everyone. Today I woke up at seven because of this super annoying cough that just seems to keep hanging on. But I guess now I can get in a little blog work and some studying, so maybe this is a good thing. I'm leaving my dad's today to go back to school :/. It was such a nice break, and I love exploring new places. St. Louis is a super cool city, and I can't wait until I get to come back and see more. I'll post some mobile pictures tomorrow of some of the places we saw.

I took these pictures on the little patio on Friday. I wish I was here to take these when the leaves changed color, but the view is still super pretty with all the greenery in the background :)

I think my dad and I will make breakfast later this morning, and I'm soo excited for that :). I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday! Hugs <3

Cozy Saturday Morning

Hello readers! This morning was wonderful! I woke up by myself at 7 am, which is pretty early for me, but I guess the time change can account for that. My dad made coffee, which we drank on the couch while the news was on. I read a local magazine. It had an article about St. Louis's fashion week coming up in November. I love how some smaller cities are starting to do their own local fashion weeks to support their fashion design talent. Plus, it allows more people to have some access to the fashion world, which is one that I love. After, we went for a workout in the small gym that is in my dad's apartment complex. While we did do a decent amount of walking yesterday, I was definitely missing a good sweaty workout. Later today we will do some exploring around downtown. I think we will be going to the zoo! I am so excited because I love animals (it does sort of break my heart to see them in pens, but the places they live are getting larger and more animal friendly. Also, most of the animals are rescued I think...). It should be fun anyway :). And the sun is shining today!! It just puts me in a much better mood always. Yesterday was super cloudy, but it wasn't too chilly. We toured the Budweiser brewery. The Clydesdales were gorgeous!! And the original parts of the brewery were built so intricately with beautiful staircases, chandeliers, and delicate brickwork. And dinner in St. Charles was amazing! I had mussels with blue cheese. Which is a super weird combination, but it added an amazing flavor!

I absolutely love this window! It is amazing for taking pictures in front of! Hugs <3

Working Girl

Hello! I thought to update you quickly before I run out the door. My dad and I are going to the city to tour a brewery, and see some horses :) Here are some pictures of me doing blog work yesterday. Oh my gosh I had so much to do! But it all worked out :) I'll update you tomorrow, or later tonight maybe??

This sweater is the softest by the way! Ahh I love it! Hugs <3

Sunshine!

Good morning everyone! Here are the pictures I took yesterday in my new shoes. I was so excited to be able to photograph in the sun again! Ahh it felt so good! It was amazing to be able to wear shorts and a thin shirt again. I hope today is as warm as yesterday. Although, I will be driving for most of the day today. I am going to visit my dad for fall break. He moved last year, and I haven't been able to see his apartment yet, so this should be fun :). I am not sure what we will be doing, but I'll be sure to keep you updated. I love exploring new places. Especially eating at new restaurants! Trying new types and styles of food is probably one of my favorites :) I hope you all have a good weekend!
