Good Morning

Good morning readers! Here are some pictures I decided to take this morning because the sun was shining just perfectly in my room today. That being done, I cannot decide if I want to work out this morning... I know I should because it's good for me, but I'm just not in the mood. Give me some motivation to get my butt moving guys haha. But I woke up to find that it looks like a perfect winter wonderland outside my window. It snowed even more last night, and it looks just gorgeous! I'm hoping it's not too cold to take some pictures because it is just too pretty to pass up :).

Cozy Night

I thought to share with you some pictures from the cozy night I'm having. It was freezing out today so that means it's doubly freezing out tonight. So I'm snuggled in bed with an electric blanket (I honestly don't even know how I survived without one because I just got it for Christmas and I use it every night), a nice cup of tea, and my iPhone. So cozy :).

Tonight my family and I had sushi for dinner. Mmmm. It is definitely one of my favorites. Then I sat and relaxed with a magazine. Oh! I also got some new boots today I cannot wait to show you! I have been dying for a pair of these boots for a long time. Then I spent the rest of the night just chatting with my mom. She is definitely one of my best friends, but she's also still the boss, ya know? Haha, anyway have a good night my lovely readers :)

Pretty Crepes

Hello readers! Today it is so cold outside that most schools around me have been closed due to the weather. I stepped outside to bring a friend lunch today, and I almost froze! It makes me want to stay inside and snuggle with a cozy blanket and a warm cup of tea :). There is no better fix for a cold day than that in my opinion. Today I woke up a bit earlier and decided to surprise Alyssa with some crepes for breakfast. I have never made them before and only tasted them once, but I found a recipe online and I think they turned out wonderful! Just check out how gorgeous they are (and super yummy too)! I never understood the crepe obsession until today haha. They were just sooo good!

The crepes themselves were really easy to make and only took a few ingredients. Flour, milk, vanilla, salt, sugar, melted butter, and a little water. The filling was also super easy. I melted some butter and brown sugar in a pan and then cut up two bananas and let it sit, shaking the pan occasionally to make sure nothing burned. And the cream filling was made with sour cream and powdered sugar. Which was a really weird combination but I promise you it tasted amazing with the banana filling! Then just top with some more powdered sugar and voila! Crepes!

Oversized Shirt

Good morning readers! Last night's dinner turned out to be soo good! I was so happy I didn't mess anything up haha. I made chicken tacos with a corn salsa, and then we added some lettuce and sour cream to them as well. The chicken was super easy. I cut three boneless skinless chicken breasts into little bite-size cubes. I browned some onions in a little olive oil and then threw the chicken in with the taco mix and a little more than 1/4 cup of water. The salsa was easy in terms of not cooking anything, but cutting up everything did take some time. I threw in a can of corn (drained), 1/2 a chopped red pepper, most of a chopped Serrano pepper, one chopped slice of onion, chopped cilantro to taste, 1 tbsp of lime juice, 1 tsp honey, and a splash of salt and pepper. I would definitely recommend this salsa it's delicious! I'm sorry I didn't take any pictures last night, but everyone was so hungry I couldn't make them wait haha.

Here is an outfit from a few days ago. This is actually my pajama shirt and I was too lazy to take it off haha. But I thought it turned out pretty cute so I decided to snap some pictures in it :). I hope you have a great hump day! Haha

New Bathing Suit!

Good morning readers! So today I wanted to take some pictures outside because I saw it had snowed last night! I love how pretty the snow makes winter look. But when I looked at the weather it was a balmy 13 degrees F. And then the sun went behind the clouds which only means it was going to get colder :(. So I decided I'd stay nice and warm inside. Maybe tomorrow will be a little warmer, and I'll be able to get some pictures taken. So today I'm just going to clean some and I'm in charge of making dinner tonight haha. I think I'm going to make chicken tacos with a corn salsa. It sounds yummy in my head. We'll see how it turns out haha.

So I didn't ask for much for Christmas this year, and I got money instead. So I decided to splurge and spend some of that money on a Triangl baying suit. I have been drooling over these suits for about a year now. And I must say they did not disappoint! I originally wanted the Chloe suit in Arizona Sunset, but once the new ones came out I fell in love with the Bambi suit in Candy Sunset. And it is sooo fiiiinnneee!! I got an extra small in both the top and the bottom, and it fits perfectly! I was a little worried about the fit because neoprene doesn't stretch, but no need to worry. For those of you considering buying one of these super fine suits, just be honest with yourself about what size you are and you should have no problem. I cannot wait to wear this suit! Hopefully on a spring break trip ;).
