Boho Romper

Hello readers!!! I have finally found a romper that fits me! You have no idea how long I have been looking for a romper that not only looks cute, but fits well. After a year of searching, I have finally achieved success!! I am sure many of you have experienced the same struggle when searching for rompers...unless you are just the luckiest person in the world...then please send some luck my way! Haha. So this beautiful piece is from Urban Outfitters. I got it when I went shopping at Crocker Park a few days ago. The pattern is a little more funky than I would normally wear, but I actually think it looks quite pretty :).

My 'I'm trying the be a serious blogger face' haha. But the strut was just so good I had to keep it.

My Favorite Breakfast

Good morning! I thought I'd share with you my new absolute favorite breakfast. It not only keeps me full for hours after I eat it, but it's really healthy too! Also, the combination may sound weird to you, but I promise it tastes amazing! So first I out my whole grain bread in the toaster for a few minutes. While that is toasting, I pour in enough olive oil to coat the pan. Then I crack my egg and into the pan it goes! I let that cook until the bottom is uniformly white. I then attempt to flip the egg over to make it over easy, but usually I end up failing miserably and breaking my yolk haha. It still tastes good anyway. By then my toast is done, and I spread a little less than half an avocado onto the toast. Just enough so that it covers the entire piece of toast. Finally I add my egg on top and viola! Amazing breakfast!

Yummy Summer Treats

Hello! Sorry for the late update, but I worked from 11 am to 8 pm today. Although the next few days will most likely be like this because of my late work schedule. Anyway, here are some pictures of two yummy treats I've had the past few days. I am actually sitting here eating the popsicle now, and I must say it is really good! It is not as creamy as some popsicles, but it is so much healthier as it is just fruit! I got the recipe from Alex Centomo's YouTube channel, and I really suggest you guys check her out. I think she is soo funny and super sweet! Back to the popsicles, the pinkish-red part is watermelon that I placed in a blender and puréed until smooth. The green part is kiwi that I also placed in the blender and puréed until smooth. First you put the watermelon purée in the popsicle container and fill it mostly full, leaving a little space for the kiwi purée. Then place only the watermelon purée in the freezer for about 10 minutes. After it has solidified a little, place the kiwi purée on top so that  it creates a layer. Then put the sticks in their place and allow to freeze for at least and hour. I'm nit sure how much watermelon I used, but I used two kiwis in the purée.

The last picture is a yummy carmel apple from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. I got the peanut butter bomb and it was amazing! Also it looked so pretty so I had to show you :).

And yes I actually am not wearing makeup in this picture because I just got home from work. I didn't think it looked too bad haha. What do you think?

Shopping at Crocker Park

Hey there! So here are some pictures from two days ago. I meant to upload these yesterday, but it was just so hectic I didn't have time to blog. But I'm back today, so no worries :). Two days ago I went shopping with my sister, Alyssa, at Crocker Park. It's an outdoor mall (I'm not sure if you know what that is, but it's really hard to describe any other way haha). And we did some damage at Urban Outfitters... I've been super obsessed with that store lately! So I will definitely be showing you what I got within the next few days. Hopefully it will warm up so I can actually wear what I got and not freeze. It has been so cold the past few days! I have been wearing pants and jackets and sweatshirts and cardigans... Like can I have summer back please??? Haha. And I'm sorry I talk about the weather so much on my blog. I'm going to try to stop writing about it so much in the future, just had to get that one complaint in first haha.

For my outfit, I sort of threw this together last minute. I, of course, could not figure out what to wear. I'm so indecisive sometimes haha.  But I think it turned out well, don't you? The white jeans are from Express, t-shirt from H&M, jacket from Nordstrom, purse from Italy (it was a gift), and shoes from Windsor.

I tried something new with my hair. I used the curls from the day before, sprayed in a little dry shampoo, gathered it back into a half-up half-down ponytail, tied one section around the other in a knot, finally securing with a few bobby pins. I think it turned out really pretty and sort of Pintrest inspired :)

Hope you have a lovely day! Hugs <3

Ombré Hair Review

Good morning readers! I actually have off work again today! Ahh the free time is absolutely amazing! Too bad the only days I get off are when the weather is super sold and rainy :(. We are talking like 58 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer...brrrr!! But yesterday, I was successful in convincing my mom and sister to go shopping with me, until they saw how busy the mall was and ran haha. But since I have off today, we will try again :). Here is the outfit I wore yesterday for lunch and dinner. My cardigan/kimono is from Nordstrom, jeans are from Abercrombie and Fitch, tank top is also from Nordstrom. Dinner was really good last night! We went to this restaurant called Market in Lakewood. I got the tacos of the day, which were some sort of seasoned pork (I forget the exact flavor), with cheese, and a spicy sauce. They were super juicy!! People probably thought I was a slob because I constantly had juice running down my hands haha. But the tacos were totally worth it :)

I actually balayage ombred (is that the right term??) my hair a few weeks ago. I don't know if any of you noticed that my hair has been lighter on the bottom. It's really slight because I didn't want to go too drastically blonde. But now I'm not sure if you can really tell it's even there... Anyway, I have been wanting to do this to my hair forever! (Embracing my inner beach girl haha) And now that it's finally done, I really couldn't be happier with the result! Gabby at Esbí International Salon in Brunswick did such an amazing job with it! The color fades from my natural color perfectly so I don't have a straight line across the back of my head where the color goes from one shade to another. I'm really very picky about my ombre's haha. But Gabby was amazing! I definitely recommend you go to her if you are considering coloring your hair in this way and live close to Brunswick. Hugs <3

P. S. How do you like my new header? I made it myself and feel like it makes me an actual blogger haha.

You Interrupted my Childhood Daydream

Good morning every one! Here are some pictures from two days ago when it was nice and sunny :). It's currently raining and I'm pretty chilly, but I'm trying to convince my mom and sister to go shopping with me today. So wish me luck guys! I was supposed to go to the Pride event today with some friends, but it got canceled because of flooding in downtown Cleveland :'( I was so excited to go because everyone would've been going nuts since everyone can now marry the person they love! I'm so executed for the LGBTQ community :)

So I decided to switch up my scenery for my photos. I used my old swing set in my back years. Seriously, this thing is about 15 years old and still standing. But it made for some pretty cool shots and I enjoyed taking these different ones.

Shirt from Pacsun, shorts are Vintage Levis, shoes from Target, nails by me :)

This is my dog Hudson. He's such a cutie and is totally my best buddy :) Hugs <3

What I Ate Today

Hellooooo! Today I thought I would give you a little 'what I ate' type post. This is actually the food I ate yesterday because I would have had to upload this post later last night. And I just thought it would be better if I uploaded it at a more reasonable time :). So without further ado, let's get into it.

So for breakfast I had whole grain, organic toast, topped with organic, all natural peanut butter and blueberries. This was actually this first time I had tried peanut butter and blueberries on toast, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was actually a really yummy combination! And on the side I had a glass of almond milk. I am not lactose or gluten intolerant (the bread was probably a giveaway on that haha), but I just really like the taste of soy milk and almond milk better than regular milk. I think it's much creamier than regular milk, with a lot less fat and more nutrients. But seriously, I drink mostly because it tastes yummy :)

Because I don't live on a tropical island, sometimes I like to pretend I do and arrange my fruit in pretty shapes haha. So this is what I had for lunch. Mango, kiwifruit, and raspberries. I absolutely love fruit and I really wish I could just live off of it haha. But this mango was probably the best mango I've ever had. It was tender, juicy, and not fibery (if that even makes sense...). I also had a little bag of pretzels for a snack a few hours after this. But pretzels just aren't that photogenic, so I didn't photograph them haha.

For dinner I decided to make breakfast food. I love breakfast food! It's my absolute favorite :). I decided to make crêpes with a super yummy caramelized banana with a cream sauce filling, sprinkled with just a little powdered sugar on top. I hunk these are sooo good! I wish I could make them more often :( But they take awhile to make and really aren't that good for you.

So that was what I ate yesterday. I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know what you think, or if you want the recipe for the crêpes, in a comment below :) Hugs <3
